I need a maid...

Yesterday I didn't do the dishes.

This is really my sink. *ew*

 I didn't do them this morning either. Now I have no more spoons or plates. *Sigh.  I guess I can't put it off much longer.

I'd say that today was a SMASHING success. The goal for this meeting was for everyone to get to know the ladies at the table. Judging by the amount of chatter, I'd say we accomplished that goal.

For the month of September, this blog will be about new beginnings. First MOPS meeting, Back to School, New babies, Even a story about the day you got your driver's license! I want you to send me your short articles, and I will review and post them! Feel free to include pictures! This is a wide open topic so I hope to see lots of stories.

The world is a scary place without a blankie...

This year, my second baby will be starting Kindergarten. Now, since she is my second child, this isn't really my first time having the kindergarten jitters. The difference this time, is that she is still a baby. My older daughter was the type to assess a situation, decide how to conquer it, and toss a casual ' bye mom!' over her shoulder as she marched confidently into the room. Not so much with #2. She is still a blankie toting, thumb sucking, mommy needing girl. And I'm ok with that. What I'm not ok with is the thought of sending her into the big scary world of Kindergarten without me.  So, what I'm gonna do, is give her lots of hugs and kisses, say a lot of prayers, and make her a pocket sized blankie. I'm sure she will survive, and even thrive. It's myself I'm worried about.  ;-)
